Our Mission

Helping People Build the Skills to Live, Grow and Thrive

Our mission is to equip youth and adults with practical life skills, financial knowledge, career preparation, entrepreneurship education, wellness resources, and personal support that promote independence, ownership, healing, and long-term success.

We are committed to closing gaps in access to information and opportunity by bringing useful education and trusted guidance directly into the communities that need it most.

Vision Statement

We envision a thriving community where youth and adults have the knowledge, confidence, resources, and opportunities to heal, develop practical life skills, build financial stability, pursue ownership, and create lasting change for themselves and future generations.

Building Skills.
Restoring Confidence.
Creating More Possibilities.

Knowledge Can Change a Life

More Lyfe Foundation is a Sacramento-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth and adults with practical life skills, personal-development tools, wellness education, and opportunities for economic advancement.

We believe everyone deserves access to the knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions, build stability, care for themselves, and create a better future. Through education, mentorship, coaching, workshops, community events, and hands-on experiences, we help individuals strengthen their confidence and turn their goals into achievable plans.

Our work is rooted in giving back, meeting people where they are, and creating meaningful change throughout our community—one person, one family, and one opportunity at a time.

What We Teach

Real-Life Knowledge for Real-Life Success

Our programs are designed to address the personal, professional, financial and wellness areas that contribute to a stable and fulfilling life.

Entrepreneurship and Business Development

Participants can learn how to turn an idea into a realistic business plan, select an appropriate business structure, understand basic licensing, establish business operations, develop a brand, identify customers, market services, set prices and prepare for responsible growth.

Budgeting and Money Management

We help participants understand income, expenses, banking, saving, debt, financial goals and responsible spending. Workshops are designed to make budgeting practical, understandable and useful in everyday life.

Personal and Business Credit

Participants can learn how credit works, how to read a credit report, what affects a credit score, how to address errors, how to use credit responsibly and how personal credit differs from business credit.

More Lyfe Foundation provides financial education—not individualized legal, tax, investment or credit-repair services.

Employment and Workplace Readiness

Career-focused programming may include résumé development, job searching, application assistance, interview preparation, workplace communication, professional appearance, time management, teamwork, conflict resolution and understanding employer expectations.

Ownership and Long-Term Stability

We introduce participants to the value of ownership and long-term planning. Topics may include homeownership preparation, responsible entrepreneurship, asset building, financial goal setting and creating a legacy for future generations.

Healing, Coaching and Personal Development

Through supportive coaching, group discussions and wellness-centered activities, participants are encouraged to identify personal barriers, strengthen self-esteem, set healthy boundaries, create achievable goals and move forward with greater purpose.

Coaching and educational activities are not substitutes for licensed mental-health treatment or medical care.

Body Care, Skin Care and Personal Hygiene

We provide age-appropriate education about personal hygiene, skin care, body care, grooming, self-respect and healthy daily routines. These programs help participants understand that caring for the body can support confidence, wellness and professional readiness.

Everyday Life Skills

Additional workshops may address communication, decision-making, household management, organization, healthy relationships, transportation planning, appointment preparation, community resources and other skills needed to navigate adulthood successfully.
