More Lyfe Supportive Services LLC is a separate company dedicated to helping eligible adults maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence in their homes and communities.
Our supportive services are designed for individuals who need assistance with personal care, household routines, mobility, companionship, or other activities of daily living. Every client begins with a consultation so we can understand their needs, determine whether our services are appropriate, and develop a personalized support plan.
Services are available only to individuals who qualify through an approved insurance, Medi-Cal, or community-based benefit—or who choose to pay privately. Insurance-funded services are subject to eligibility verification, authorization, benefit limits, and our participation with the applicable payer. Private-pay services are based on the client’s needs, a safe and appropriate care plan, caregiver availability, and a completed service agreement.
More Lyfe Supportive Services LLC operates separately from More Lyfe’s housing and furnished-rental services. Housing with More Lyfe does not automatically qualify an individual for supportive services, and supportive services may be requested without obtaining housing from More Lyfe.
What We Provide
Personalized Assistance That Helps You Live More Independently
Our trained caregivers provide non-medical assistance based on each client’s authorized care plan, personal needs, preferences, and level of independence.
Available services may include:

Bathing, grooming, dressing and personal-hygiene assistance

Toileting and incontinence-care support

Mobility, walking and transfer assistance

Positioning and non-clinical range-of-motion support

Meal planning, preparation and feeding assistance

Medication reminders
-
Companionship, conversation and emotional encouragement
-
Safety supervision and wellness observation
-
Respite support for family caregivers
-
Light housekeeping and organization
-
Laundry, linens and basic household tasks

Grocery shopping and essential errands
-
Transportation coordination and appointment accompaniment
-
Assistance with daily routines and community activities
-
Reporting changes or concerns to the client’s authorized representative

Support following hospitalization, when appropriate for non-medical care

Customized assistance based on an approved service plan
Services are provided within the caregiver’s legally permitted role and the client’s approved care plan. More Lyfe Supportive Services LLC does not represent non-medical supportive care as skilled nursing. Caregivers do not diagnose conditions, develop medical treatment plans, perform unauthorized medical procedures, or administer medications unless the service is legally permitted and delivered by an appropriately licensed professional.
California distinguishes non-medical home care from skilled home-health services. The state’s Home Care Services program covers assistance with activities of daily living and requires licensed Home Care Organizations to use registered caregivers who have completed the required background-check process. You may be eligible if:

You can safely receive non-medical support in your home or community.

Your needs are within the services More Lyfe is authorized to provide.

Your insurance, Medi-Cal program, long-term-care policy, or other payer authorizes the requested services.

You have an approved number of service hours, if required by the payer.

You are prepared to use private-pay services when insurance coverage is unavailable.

You complete an intake assessment and required service documents.

More Lyfe has an appropriate caregiver and scheduling availability.
For Insurance- or Program-Funded Care
Before services begin, we may need:

Insurance or Medi-Cal information

Member or policy identification
-
Proof of eligibility

Physician or healthcare certification, when required

A referral or service authorization
-
An approved care plan or authorized service hours

Emergency-contact and authorized-representative information
California IHSS applicants generally must be California residents, have a Medi-Cal eligibility determination, live in their own home or chosen residence, and provide a completed healthcare certification. For Private-Pay Care
Private-pay clients generally do not need to meet an insurance program’s financial-eligibility rules. Approval is based on:

Completion of an initial consultation and needs assessment

Confirmation that the requested care is non-medical and within our scope

Development of a safe and appropriate service plan

A signed service agreement

Acceptance of the applicable rates, schedule and payment terms

Caregiver availability
Coverage Notice
Coverage is not guaranteed. Medicare generally does not cover custodial or personal care—such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation or housekeeping—when that is the only care a person needs. Some Medi-Cal programs, private long-term-care policies, managed-care plans, veterans’ benefits, or other programs may cover qualifying services, subject to their individual rules.
